Homestuck Dreamer Hoodie Tutorial by XMoonLilyX Homestuck Dreamer Hoodie Tutorial by XMoonLilyX
Hey guys! I finally did it! Put a tutorial together for my dreamer hoodies based on nymphicus’ design.

As you can see it's pretty straight forward!

This tutorial also can be applied to the ones with the zip just change the placement of the transfers. One thing I did forget to mention is that you have to peel the back of the transfers off or they won't stick to the fabric. xD

Here is a link to the transfers:
Derse: [link] [link] [link]
Prospit: [link] [link] [link]

As far as washing them goes, I haven't actually done that yet but with transfers it's best to wash at 40 and don't tumble dry...and when you iron it make sure to use the protective sheet or iron inside out.

Any questions please do ask! And if you use this to make one i'd love to see it!

The hoodies have hoods, you just can't see them. Look at the pictures in the description.

The Hoodies That You Purcchased... Could They, By Any Chance, Be Shipped To The United States?

That's a question you'd have to ask the seller. But if not I bet you can easily find plain ones in those colours from a US seller.

A few questions...
How do you make sure the sewing of the white isn't visible?
Also, as you made these a while ago, how have they held up? Are the transfer paper decorations still fine?

I want to make a Prospit hoodie but haven't had the best track record with transfer paper :/

AMAZING designs though! :D
Really excited to make one as long as the transfer paper holds up. ^_^
(Anywhere in particular you got your transfer paper from?)

Uhh well just use white thread and it should be fine? That's what I did anyway ^^

Tbh I haven't had the chance to wear them a whole lot, but I used this transfer paper on other stuff and it has started to peel away. It might be worth paying for more high quality paper, or even painting or screenprinting it on, if you're looking for longevity.

Thanks for replying :)

I only asked about the sewing because I couldn't see it anywhere on your photos so I thought you had found a way to hide it, but it was just that you did too good a job so I couldn't find it easily :D

Thanks for the advice, I'll probably paint the decorations on instead then.
Looking forward to wearing it! :)

May I ask where you bought the sweaters you used for this? I've been looking all over and for some reason its near impossible to find an inexpensive, solid color hoodie @_@

Okay, I'm sorry, But I'm lost. What are the whole line things that you put on them? I get the swirlies and the moon symbols, but I'm confused >:?

I don't really understand the question? They're made out of jersey knit, just sewn on in lines.

I qill be making one soon, thanks for this very helpful tutorial!
Do you have any tips, or other fabrics you could use for the stripes?
Could you use Normal Iron-on foil? (( It'll look like this : [link] ))
Thanks!

Hey would you mind posting a bigger picture of the finished hood? I can't get the fabric positioned right and would like to see how you did it.
Love the tutorial and can't wait to finish my own!

You just do it in straight lines, lay the hood in half and follow the line across ^^

There's a couple of photos here but no idea if they're any help [link]

I hate to ask, but what colour did you choose when you ordered it? I'm partially colourblind and I can't seem to tell which colour is closer to the actual Derse design. xD

It was 'Heliconia' BUT I had to dye that with dylon due afterwards...I think the dye I used was French Lavender.
